Seth Kwiecien

DIRECTOR OF MEMBERSHIP & COMMUNICATIONS

Seth Kwiecien rejoined the PathNorth team as Director of Membership and Communications in December 2023. Prior to that, he worked for the Economic Club of Washington, D.C. as the Manager of Communications and Media Relations from 2021–2023.

Seth's career began with PathNorth in 2014 as an administrative intern. In 2016, he was promoted to a full-time role working across all aspects of the organization. In 2019, he co-founded G.Rickey, LLC, a leadership communications firm, with his fiancé Jacob Palalay.

Proudly born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Seth moved to Washington, D.C. to attend The George Washington University, graduating in 2016 with his B.S. in economics and public policy. When he is not working, you can find Seth traversing rural Virginia with Jacob in search of unique finds, collecting Virginia wine (ask him about it), or baking for company.

What is something about you that would surprise others? I play African (djembe) and Brazilian (timbau) hand drums.

What is your favorite PathNorth memory? Competing in the 2018 PathNorth Morocco Experience scavenger hunt in Marrakech’s medina with a team of incredible members.

What is your top bucket list travel destination? The Galapagos with a brief stop in Peru to hike to Machu Picchu.
